We hosted a Sourdough class (10 spots sold out in a matter of days) We only took a small cut of ticket sales for "hosting" in our space, but brought in a bunch of new people that didn't even know we existed, and using new tags on social created an entirely new "buzz" for us.

"We do ANYTHING/everything is offered to us for free, even if it seems silly or like it doesn't fit into the world of IV hydration; ie. we were invited to a rock climbing competition to have just an information table set up, but ALL day like 8am-6pm...long day for not a lot of return. We brought supplies "just in case", ended up doing 4 infusions and making almost $1000; completely unexpected and we didn't pay anything to be there. We could have easily said no, thinking we wouldn't get anything out of it, but we got those infusions and repeat clients out of it." - Erin

I AM NOT JUST A NURSE

Shelley DiAngelo, RN, BSN, CDCES, opened Mile Hydrate Mobile IV Therapy and Wellness in 2022, using her skills as a clinical and holistic nurse. Originally, she wanted to simply administer infusions to those in her community as a side hustle to her full-time job as a certified diabetes educator and care manager. But as diverse as nursing careers can be, so too can one as a nursepreneur. Infusions quickly became a supplemental service to a flourishing writing career with an international magazine called BRAINZ.

Being an executive contributor to the magazine has also put her in good company worldwide. She was awarded a spot on the BRAINZ Crea Global Award List of 2024 of many international, professional experts. The Brainz CREA Global Awards is a prestigious list of top entrepreneurs, influential leaders, and innovators who have been recognized

for their innovative ideas, resourcefulness, or accomplishments in the areas of sustainability and mental health.
